Antique Sterling Silver Brooch with magnificent 71 Carat Smoky Quartz Gemstone.

Smoky Quartz is Oval Cut Faceted and measures approximately 40mm by 28mm by 12mm deep. It's a faint brown smoky color and extremely clear and bright.

Gemstone is AAA quality, and impressively clear and shows no faults or flaws. The facets are well cut and the light reflects very well on the piece.

Sterling Silver Filigree Setting is just a hair over 2 inches long and 1.75 inches wide. Approximately 5/8 inch deep not including pin height. Pin extends approximately 0.25 inches beyond brooch end.

Total weight of brooch is 36.5 grams

No hallmark or maker's mark found. Hand made Victorian era piece, metal is tested as sterling silver, and gemstone passes all natural tests. It's the real thing.
