Vintage Sterling Silver Lipstick Case Compact and Mirror with Coral cabochon

Vintage Sterling Silver Lipstick Case Makeup Compact from Italy.

Vintage lipstick case and mirror compact set. Made in Italy and hallmarked 800 Sterling Silver. Has a small oval shaped coral cabochon as decoration. Unable to confirm whether it is real or simulated. I would assume it's decorative and maybe you get lucky. Priced accordingly.

Mirror is hazy, and it does show steady wear and use. Please see pictures.

Weight is 25.7 grams. These are standard size for a lipstick insert. Measurements are approximately 2 1/8" x 5/8" x 5/8" for the lipstick case.

Good working order, mirror closes properly, the two pieces close together tightly and everything functions. The tube has been cleaned out and ready for use. Item does show wear across surfaces.

Please see close up where mirror slots into compact - it appears that someone stuck the mirror in and bent it a tiny bit to keep it in the slot.
