Solid sterling silver concho modeled in a domed floral sunburst design. By the design and hallmark, this appears to be a 1970's or 1980's issue design. The metal is quite thick and it's well built with a sturdy bracket underneath. There's no flex in any of the metal parts. Nicely built and solid and heavy.
The design is very southwestern and/or Navajo style, but without a maker's mark - there is no way to positively identify the maker.
Piece is hallmarked STERLING (92.5% Silver).
This piece is approximately 1.75 inches in diameter, and the dome raises up about 1/4 of an inch in the center. The bracket underneath is approximately 1 inch to the outer edges, likely allowing for a 3/4 inch wide belt. The depth of the bracket is approximately 1/2 inch or just under.
