1863 Indian Head Penny One Cent - Advertising Token Frost's Medicine Civil War Token

1863 Indian Head One Cent Penny - that has been turned into an advertising token for Frost's Medicine. This was actually a much more valuable coin until this modification happened - but it is still here to tell the story of our history. Priced accordingly!

1863 One Cent Penny / Token advertising Frost's Medicine on the reverse. "Use Frost's Medicine Sold By Druggists" is on the reverse.

PCGS actually records, grades and documents these tokens. PCGS references the token as: 1863 Token F-460Ba-1a, Frost's Medicine IN, BN (Regular Strike)

This coin is in VF to XF condition, but does show a considerable amount of verdigris starting to appear - which is common for re-struck coins of this era.
