Hand Cut Sacajawea Sterling Silver and 14K Gold Inlay Headstall Concho Buckle

Vintage Sacajawea Sterling Silver Concho or Headstall with 14K Gold Star Inlay - hand made.

This is a true up-cycle hand made piece that originally started out as a Sacajawea Sterling Silver made piece here in the USA that has been hand cut and modified to support a 14K Gold Star of Texas on it with a complete and professional appearance.

You can clearly see the Sterling Silver hallmark from Sacajawea and the line cuts in order to make this into a high quality finished piece, along with the hand cut gold star. The piece is worn, and has great patina and hallmarks are all clearly visible along with the USA mark.

The piece is approximately 1.5 inches in diameter, the rise in the buckle is 0.5 inches from the base and the gold star is approximately .875 inches across from point to point. It is very well constructed out of solid sterling and is thick enough to have absolutely no flex to it.

The gold has been tested, and measures at 14k. This is truly a cowboy original!
