Up for sale is nice vintage Amston Sterling Silver Service Dish with glass center inlay using a sunburst pattern and intricate filigree pattern around the border. The pattern is an excellent Art Deco design. The dish is approximately 6.75 inches in diameter as shown.

Amston produced sterling between 1910 and approximately 1940 until they were bought out by Ellmore Silver Co. This is a true Art Deco 1920's to 1930's piece in great condition for the age.

The glass is in excellent condition and shows no scratches or issues. The sterling silver does have some very small indentations as you can see, but it still makes an excellent display with the filigree design.

PLEASE SEE PICTURES. This is a nice dish, but there are a few very minor issues in the sterling that I cannot undo. It will ship "as is" and is priced competitively.

The dish itself with the glass weighs 110 grams on my scale. The sterling silver is a significant portion of this. The metal has been tested as sterling silver, and it is hallmarked at "Amston Sterling" as shown in the pictures.

I am selling the dish based mostly on the silver content. This looks to fit a nice bottle of wine on top, or possibly as a candy dish or tray. It shows very well, but there are some minor issues that keep it from being declared "excellent condition" and I would call it "very good condition" to be safe.

Due to the rapidly fluctuating price of silver, I will consider reasonable offers on this piece, and I always ship promptly.

    As always, free shipping!
